Suit up!

–Many years ago I created my very first website by customizing a guestbook. I’ve received the code on a 3.5″ 1.44 MB floppy disk included with a magazine. By adding some extra fields for artist, title and price I’ve soon had a popular site where swedes could buy and sell used CD’s.

Today I’m doing it using open source software, like WordPress. I’m creating web services with great value. I’m constantly keeping my eyes open for new trends and improving the user experience.

The challenge is not to write the code; it’s to code the right things, at the right time, using the right tools. That’s why I code less today than ever before. No surprise.

Record labels and the music industry might be dead as we known them, but we can always look back and see that we actually did learn something important.
